Core in AUMIZ

  • Go to CORE.
  • Create a new Core by selecting a type from the Post, Profile, Event, Form and CoreList. Start with Post to begin with.
  • Input values for properties of the Post (Core) and Save it.
  • Newly created Post (Core) will be in Unpublished state. Publish it by clicking on the eye icon in the row.
  • Visit the page by clicking on the link - second last icon in the row.

Create new Category

Widgets in AUMIZ

  • Create a new Category under Web. A new Nav (Widget) is created by the same, with the same tree structure as that of the Category.
  • Go to WIDGETS.
  • Click on the newly created Nav to edit it. You need to update two properties to make the Nav work as expected.
  • First is Island - this is the location of the Nav (Widget) in the template. For available Islands in a Template, see Islands configuration in the Template section below.
  • Second is Visibility - For simplicity, select Visible on all Pages to make the Nav visible on all web pages provided selected Island is available on the corresponding Template.
  • Save the Nav.

Islands in the demo Templates

Here is the Islands configuration in all three demo Templates.

Important: On the demo site, whenever an Island is empty (nothing is Published on that Island) we have highlighted it using red text. Of course, this will not be a scenario on live, public facing websites.
